STRATEGY AND IMPLEMENTATION:
MOBILIZATION STRATEGIES
Our chosen mandate requires large numbers of vibrant and active minds to drive our objectives to fulfilment, and in order to reach out to such ones, we employ the following strategies:
Conferences for intensive discourse on burning issues that affect the youth and the larger society.
Opinion pieces, Press Conferences and News releases in major mass media outlets to state our positions on national issues.
Public enlightenment campaigns to sensitize the masses on their role in the success of government policies and programmes.
Working assessments of public institutions and engagement with government agencies to determine their effectiveness in delivering public goods and to offer suggestions on strategies for better service delivery.
Use of eminent personalities as mentors to provide effective guidance to the youth on the imperatives of national development.
Annual Congress meetings are used to sensitize our members on their roles as community leaders and how to actively participate in their communities.
Participation in programmes of other civil society organizations and national assembly public hearings to reach out to diverse groups.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Coalition For Democracy Enlightenment in Africa (CODE-AFRICA) was founded, by a groups of dynamic CSOs working in different sectors of Nigeria(Africa), based on the urgent need to entrench a society that serves the interests of the greatest number of our citizens. CODE-AFRICA was conceived based on the need to build an Enlightened and empowered citizens, to reawaken the patriotic spirit and zeal of the founding fathers of Nigeria (Africa), who lent their voices and made great personal sacrifices in the carving of the modern identity of Nigeria (Africa).
CODE-AFRICA exists as an advocate of development in society, by focusing on matters that facilitate the effective delivery of public goods for the good of Nigeria (Africa). CODE-AFRICA believes that an empowered and enlightened populace that participates in the governance process is the panacea for enabling Nigeria (Africa) competes effectively with the rest of the world in the 21st century. It is on record that Africa has one of the highest youngest populations in the world today (with a youth demographic of about 60%), and our commitment is ensuring that this potential wealth generator isn’t misguided and misused by selfish vested interests to drag our beloved homeland backwards.
We have adopted Nigeria as our starting point to reaching out to the entire continent, because of the leadership role that Nigeria has played in liberating the continent from colonial forces as well as her size and access to resources.
